The passion for the fascinating world of wine is easily explained by the history of the Miolo family who, in addition to working in viticulture since Giuseppe’s arrival in Brazil in 1897, innovate year after year. One of the founders of the Wines of Brasil project, Miolo Wine Group is the largest wine exporter in Brazil and the most recognized in the international market. The production among the 4 wineries of the group totals, on average, 10 million liters per year in a cultivated area of own vineyards with approximately 1,000 hectares.
Miolo Winery is the only Brazilian brand with production in four different terroirs (Vale dos Vinhedos/Bento Gonçalves (Serra Gaúcha), Seival/Candiota (Campanha Meridional), Almadén/Santana do Livramento (Campanha Central) e Terranova/Casa Nova (Vale do São Francisco). The expression of this diversity is also recognized by the guide, which classifies all labels, signed by the brands Miolo, Seival, Terranova and Almadén.
