O Conselho Federal de Investimentos foi fundado há mais de 60 anos pelas províncias argentinas e tem como objetivo promover o desenvolvimento harmonioso e integral de todas as regiões do país. O espírito da Agência é trabalhar por meio do federalismo promovendo o desenvolvimento regional.
Entre suas principais funções, atua como órgão permanente de pesquisa, financiamento e assessoria em toda a República Argentina. O Conselho tem uma presença permanente em cada uma das províncias, que presta assistência contínua às empresas e autoridades locais.
O Conselho busca inserir as economias regionais no mundo a partir de suas produções exportáveis, da inserção das províncias no nível internacional, da cooperação e inovação tecnológica internacional aplicada às produções locais exportáveis, da criação de novas empresas exportadoras e da atração de investimentos.
Para atingir estes objectivos, são organizadas missões ao exterior, missões inversas, missões técnicas, pré-financiamento de exportações, cooperação técnica com as províncias, elaboração de estudos e relatórios, entre outros.

The Federal Investment Council was founded more than 60 years ago by the Argentine provinces, and its objective is to promote the harmonious and comprehensive development of all the regions of the country. The spirit of the Agency is to work through federalism promoting regional development.
Among its main functions, it operates as a permanent research, financing and advisory body throughout the Argentine Republic. The Council has a permanent presence in each of the provinces, which provides continuous assistance to companies and local authorities.
The Council seeks to insert regional economies into the world from their exportable productions, the insertion of the provinces at the international level, cooperation and international technological innovation applied to local exportable productions, the creation of new export companies and the attraction of investments.
To achieve these objectives, missions abroad, inverse missions, technical missions, pre-financing of exports, technical cooperation with the provinces, preparation of studies and reports, among others, are organized.
