O nome da vinícola deriva de um marco métrico da época romana chamado IV Miglio Romano, ou quarta milha romana, equivalente à distância entre as cidades de Pozzuoli e Quarto. A família Verde, alma da empresa, cultiva a arte do vinho há diversas gerações, unindo qualidade e as tradições do território e valorizando as vinhas autóctones da região, com mais de 2.700 anos de história.
The name of the winery derives from a milestone that refers to the IV Miglio Romano, a unit of measurement between the city of Pozzuoli and the current Quarto. The Verde family, the heart of the company, has been cultivating the art of wine for generations, guaranteeing a quality product that embodies the culture and flavors of the area. The goal is the dissemination of the great historical tradition and the enhancement of native vines, pre-phylloxera, with more than 2700 years of history.
