O Grupo Henkell Freixenet é resultado da fusão da espanhola Freixenet, empresa especializada em espumantes de qualidade, e da alemã Henkell, maior produtora de espumantes alemães do mundo. A cooperação entre Espanha e Alemanha permitiu que o grupo ampliasse seu portfólio no Brasil e alcançasse novos mercados e canais de distribuição. Hoje, a empresa é líder mundial na produção de espumantes com mais de 40 marcas presentes em seu portfólio. No Brasil há 30 anos, a Freixenet somou sua gama de produtos, como os tradicionais Cavas da região da Catalunha, além de vinhos espanhóis de altíssima qualidade das melhores regiões produtoras da Espanha, como Ribera del Duero, Rioja e Rías Baixas, às marcas do grupo Henkell, com os tradicionais espumantes Henkell e Mionetto a linha de vinhos Schloss Johannisberg e IHeart, proveniente das melhores regiões vitivinícolas do mundo. No Brasil, o Grupo comercializa quase todas as variedades de espumantes, como o Sekt alemão, o Cava da Espanha e o Prosecco da Itália. A empresa possui filiais em 30 lugares ao redor do mundo e exporta suas marcas para mais de 140 países.

The Henkell Freixenet Group is the result of the merger of the Spanish Freixenet, a company specializing in quality sparkling wines, and the German Henkell, the largest producer of German sparkling wines in the world.
