 A Famiglia Veadrigo é, como o próprio nome já diz, uma família que trabalha unida pela vitivinicultura, carregando traços da ancestralidade de pessoas que muito construíram quando pouco se tinha. Uma família que sempre teve as mulheres em evidência pela determinação e pelo trabalho. Uma família para quem elaborar vinhos, sucos e espumantes é sinônimo de muito carinho e qualidade.
A nossa matéria-prima vem de produtores parceiros e de vinhedos próprios, tradição que veio da Itália pelas mãos da família do imigrante Gioacchino Veadrigo. No ideal de conquistar o novo mundo, ele conquistou também o amor de Maria Caldart e, juntos, tiveram seis filhos.
O primogênito João Veadrigo foi quem, ao lado da esposa Maria Franzói, fundou a Vinícola Veadrigo em 1927, no Travessão Rondelli, local onde ela permanece até hoje. O passar dos anos fez calejar as mãos trabalhadoras, mas também encher os corações e render frutos colhidos constantemente.
Maria teve papel de destaque na manutenção da vinícola, principalmente após a morte de João, em 1944. Ela assumiu os negócios e soube manter, educar e prosperar a família, sempre buscando forças na fé. Embalou em seu colo, além dos filhos, netos e bisnetos, os sonhos de todos que com ela conviveram até o ano de sua partida, em 1982.
Foi o filho primogênito de Nona Maria, Orlando Augusto Veadrigo, quem assumiu a vinícola. Os primeiros registros oficiais da empresa são de 1954, com a elaboração de vinhos de mesa para venda a granel. A quarta geração da família entra em cena pelo trabalho do filho de Orlando, o jovem Fernandes João Veadrigo, que assumiu a vinícola em 1985, tendo ao seu lado a esposa Gabriela.
Com a nova geração vieram as uvas Vitis Viníferas, a ampliação do portfólio para vinhos finos e da estrutura, com um novo pavilhão para produção. Acolher pessoas também é um dom da família, que recebe visitantes para o varejo, recentemente remodelado para uma verdadeira experiência com o vinho, além de ser recheado de delícias, bem como a Enoteca, um espaço com restaurante para proporcionar os melhores momentos das nossas vidas, seja no deck ao ar livre ou nas mesas internas. Famiglia Veadrigo is, as the name implies, a family that works together for viticulture, carrying traces of the ancestry of people who built a lot when they had little. Our raw material comes from partner producers and from our own vineyards, a tradition that came from Italy through the hands of the immigrant Gioacchino Veadrigo’s family. In the ideal of conquering the new world, he also conquered the love of Maria Caldart, and together they had six children.
The firstborn João Veadrigo was the one who, together with his wife Maria Franzói, founded Vinícola Veadrigo in 1927, in Travessão Rondelli, where it remains until today. The passing of the years made working hands calloused, but also filled hearts and yielded constantly harvested fruits.
Maria played a prominent role in maintaining the winery, especially after João’s death in 1944. It was Nona Maria’s first-born son, Orlando Augusto Veadrigo, who took over the winery. The first official records of the company are from 1954, with the elaboration of table wines to be sold in bulk. The fourth generation of the family comes into the picture through the work of Orlando’s son, the young Fernandes João Veadrigo, who took over the winery in 1985, having his wife Gabriela by his side.
With the new generation came the Vitis Vinifera grapes, the expansion of the portfolio to fine wines, and the structure, with a new pavilion for production. Welcoming people is also a gift from the family, who welcome visitors to the retail area, recently remodeled for a true wine experience, besides being full of delights, as well as the Enoteca, a space with a restaurant to provide the best moments of our lives, either on the outdoor deck or at indoor tables.
