At the beginning of the 20th century, Dolores Sala married Pedro Ferrer, who revolutionized the business by combining Dolores’ enology knowledge with Pedro’s commercial and innovative skills. From this union, the Freixenet brand was born, one of the largest producers of Cava, with the first bottle made under the brand name appearing in 1911. Finally, in 2018, Freixenet and the German company Henkell merged to form the Henkell Freixenet Group, preserving the family spirit of the brands while gaining the strength needed to become the world’s largest sparkling wine producer.
Our story in Brazil began in 2012 as a local subsidiary of Freixenet. After the creation of Henkell Freixenet, we incorporated new and important brands into our portfolio, such as Henkell, Mionetto, and I Heart Wines, forming an exclusive group of world-renowned beverages with rich traditions.
